Bought a male banded hognose in October last year. I finally got it to feed in February of this year. The problem is it will only take large chunks of fish. I have tried scenting fuzzies to no avail and will not go down the road of force feeding for obvious reasons.
Shedding was also patchy but have resolved this issue with a box of slightly damp moss. This has now resulted in a perfect shed.
Is it practical to continue feeding with fish or do I need vitamin supplements?
The background to this snake is patchy and I believe it was part of an import from America. It could possibly be wild caught
It weighs around 65grms
Any suggestions please
