Hi I bought a family friend's hognose off them a month ago as their son had long been bored of the lil' guy. His name is Sylas and he is an absurdly fussy eater. Haven't managed to get him to feed myself yet which isn't great but the old owner is helping me to try getting him to feed, apparently he takes a while to settle to new homes. Other than that he is quite a sweet creature!

Good news indeed! My hoggy has also just eaten again after having about a month off, so it must be something about the time of year.

Hi there. How old and big is the little fella?
Ravenmorghane Posted - 23/11/2012 : 20:27:12
Yeh he ate the day before we took him about 4 weeks ago now. The previous owner said not to panic he has been longer without food and they had a similar problem when they took him home. He's just getting used to new surroundings, she's going to try and feed him herself in a couple of days.

Hi, welcome to the forum. Do you know how long it's been since your hoggy ate?
