Here is a video of our hognose. He is 1.5 years old. He keeps randomly jumping and all. Nobody is provoking him and my boyfriend says sometimes his whole body just shakes. He seems light headed and confused too. WHat are these jerking movements he is doing? he is hissing alot too and he usually doesn't. He has been making there weird movements off and on all day. Help!

Hi - I don't have the facility on my PC to watch videos, but I would say that if your snake is making unusual and/or unnatural movements, you need to get him to the vet.
Hognoses do display defensive behaviour which can be a bit alarming - without watching your video I can't tell you if what your boy is doing is normal, but perhaps someone else on the forum can shed some light on that?

I just took my hognose to the vet, because he has been acting really weird, making noises and moving around in a strange way, and they told me it was an infection that was spreading to his nervous system. they gave me antibiotics, so i would suggest taking him to the vet as soon as possible.
